Alkylglycerols

Alkylglycerols can be found in all mammals’ blood producing organs. In humans alkylglycerols occur naturally in breast milk, bone marrow, liver and in the spleen. The highest concentration of alkylglycrols in nature is found in shark liver oil.

Unprocessed shark liver oil contains up to 40% alkylglycerols and unwanted components such as squalene, cholesterol, vitamins A and D has been reduced to a minimum. Impurities such as DDT, PCB, and heavy metals have been eliminated.

The unique and sophisticated process is standardised, which means that each manufactured batch has the same content of active ingredients, and during the whole process it is carefully controlled. A natural roduction process has isolated the unique combination of active alkylglycerols in Ecomer.
